My Beloved Poem by Malaika Kariuki

My Beloved

What is This i feel
Suspended In Limbo
Neither Touching The Ground Nor Floating
What Have You Done To Me My Beloved
The Song Of My Heart
Its All You..Its Only You

If I Could But Have A Heart Swap
I would Be On The Surgeon's Table
For This One Hurts So Bad
What Have You Done To Me My Beloved
How Can i Live With A Half Of Myself
When You Hold The Other Half Of Me

If I Could Run From Myself
I'd Break Into A Marathon Sprint
For You've Refused To Leave Me
You Live In Me
You're Me
What Have You Done To Me My Beloved

I Surrender To This Feeling
For I Know You And i Shall Never Part
We May Be Departed In Flesh
But In Heart We Remain
We Are Two Parts Of A Whole
And So It Shall Remain

I Now Know What You've Done To Me My Beloved
You Found Your Abode, My Soul
Its Where You Belong
Please Never Depart My Beloved
