My Beloved Uganda Poem by Bob Kasiita

My Beloved Uganda

Give me a piece of paper,
I want to write a poem about,
My country, my beloved Uganda.

Give me a voice,
I want to speak against corruption,
And unveil the truth behind these misdeeds.

Give me strength,
To fight for justice and accountability,
And hold those in power responsible for their actions.

Give me the power of unity,
Together we can cleanse our system,
And build a brighter future for all.

Give me hope,
That one day we will overcome,
The challenges that tarnish our nation's name.

Give me my pen,
And I will tell a tale of resilience,
Of a country that strives to rise above its flaws.
