My Box Poem by Kathlyn Grace

My Box

I was a princess
on the bed with the pea

I was a princess
happy with he

I was in a dream
living in my own little box
my own little world

You had to come and open my box
and take my prince away from thee

You opened my box
and took my smile

You opened my box
and you stole my fantasy

Now my box is slowly becoming this world
with the you and the he
and the he without the me

You had to open my box
my box where I lie

My box is not becoming more a you
then a me
which it very well should be

Now there is reality seeping through it
making it reak
making it leak
now all my prince says to me is 'Good-bye'
and my horse has run away
and my castle is breaking
slowly decaying
becuase my box is now opened
and reality is making it broken

Inside and out
inside it rotts
outside it leaks
leaks my fantasy into your presious life
perfect with him
perfect with all

Reality has taken over now
my castle is being concored

You opened my box
my prince is now gone
my mind is now torn
