My Broken Dream By Nadood

Rating: 1.0

What about me?
What about my feelings?
What about what I want?
What about what I need?
What about my dream?

Am I the only one who's growing up not doing what she wants?

Just because I'm no doctor, lawyer, or some
Celebrity, then I can't pick my own dream?

Don't I disserve to live how I want to live?
Don't I disserve to be who I want to be?

I disserve all of that, but yet you insist on locking up my dreams
And throwing away the keys.

You insist on locking my heart, just like you locked my dreams

I've been trapped in a tower for a long time
Wishing I would escape

But yet you oblige me to stay and because I'm so kind
And sweet, I still feel betrayed

But no more. I will be who ever I want to be, I will knock off mountains
I would climb trees, I will do everything in my power to
Fight for my dreams for what I believe.

No more doing this to please you
This is my heart,
this is my life,
this is my dream.
