My Brother Returns From Taiwan Poem by Charles WOO

My Brother Returns From Taiwan

Violent wind blows under the autumn rain.
My brother comes home from Taiwan again.
He speaks with accent of foreign province.
Years passed, his face looks the same ever since.
‘Home, sweet home! ' he sighs with deep feeling.
‘Let's try the fat floodgate crabs! ' he keeps pleading.
His temples turn grey after long separation.
Relatives and friends talk to him with great passion.
