My Christmas Wish Poem by Laura Anne

My first wish is a simple wish
But yet seems impossible to attainable
For you are thousands of miles and oceans away
On this, our first Christmas as husband and wife
I wish we could share this day together
I knew when I said “I do”,
That there would be many memories we couldn’t share
You are my love, my best friend, my sailor man
My second wish is a wish for you,
To return home safely to me
And we can share a special Christmas together
I ask God to protect you and make the seas calm,
for the shores to be friendly and no harm to come your way.
I make these wishes with all the love I hold in my heart for you.
