Hey best friend!

Oh! Yes!

We are acquainted constantly,

And I vow,

I just love you since then for your fondness,

You are the perfect cosset for me,

So engrossed for each other!




Like fruit of all seasons,

You are a friend for life!

The way you smile,

The way you make me smile

Tolerating the mess I am!




Remembering dumb stuff,

Those intolerable nights,

Unbearable things,

The arms I wrapped in are yours!




You cared me like a mom,

Scolds and pamper me like a dad,

Fought and irritated me like a sibling,

Loved more than a lover!




The bond between us is something special,

The immense pain from the day,

That I tried to push you away,

Build walls to guard my heart!




But when the day you understood it,

You just build doors and windows in those walls,

And your efforts and love soon helped me to realize,

That our friendship is the one that would be able to pass the test of distance and time!




Letting you know,

You are the ghost in my lack of sleep,

And a glow that lights up my life!




Let's forget the mistakes of the past,

Press on to the greater achievements of future!
