My Creed Of Suffering Poem by Minerva Agriam

I believe that suffering is a powerful
Means for sanctification.
I believe that from all eternity, God
Has measured out the right amount of suffering.
I believe that God has endowed with the
Necessary Graces to make the sufferings holy.
I believe that if Jesus rewards a glass of
Water given to my brothers, God will have
For sufferings, a reward as great as the sea.
I believe that even if it costs me so much,
Suffering is the most beautiful gift that
Jesus can give to my soul.
I believe that it is time to stop complaining
About my ills because these are gifts from God.
I believe that suffering is the most powerful
Antidote against sin and the most beautiful
Gift of my poor soul to God.
I believe that love of sufferings nails me to
A cross upon which I can see Jesus clearly.
I believe that after having led me to Golgotha,
Suffering will lead me to the joy of Resurrection.
I believe that suffering is a Vocation repugnant
To my human nature but necessary coz thru it
The Passion of Christ is continued im me.
I believe that love of suffering is the highway
To sanctity.
