My Daddy Poem by Heather CCC

My Daddy

Ever since I was little I have looked up to you. You were my hero, my knight that protected me from the monsters in my closet and under my bed. The older i got you were still there you taught me how to saddle and ride a horse. You even let me shoot my first gun a little 22. You are part of the reason I am the person I am. When I started Dating you weren't the father that ran the guys off you were the one that gave them a chance. Also as I got older I noticed why you worked so much and so hard it was because you wanted me to have everything I needed and more. When I turned 16 you gave me a car without any strings I cant tell you how much I appricate it. Then came the day I turned 18 I can only imagine how hard that was for you to see your baby girl all grown up. But just rember how you use to say that i'll always be your baby girl and daddys little girl. So i have something to tell you I always want to be Daddys baby girl. All that I ask from you is that you understand that I have my own choices and life now. But I will never forget you or the times we had! I LOVE YOU DADDY! !
