My darling
It is for you I swot thus
To make money
And marry you
I love you it's true
But that does not put
Food on the table
Roof over your head
Clothes on your body
If I love you truly
Let me work then
So that when I am ready
To ask
Will you marry me
You would be ready to
Ask in return
Can you handle it?
I should then say yes
And say it with gusto
