My Daughters Poem by Dr Shamim ali

My Daughters

From the time you were little,
I knew you'd always be,
Not just loving daughters,
But caring friends for me.
A shoulder I could depend on,
A caring hand in times of distress,
Cheerful souls to heave me up,
My angels in both word and feat.
We shared many secrets,
We laughed and cried together,
We shared pleasure and sorrow,
We always walked side by side.
With both of you I have a very unique tie,
Like Aquamarine and her star fish,
Always there to please me,
to fortify my dead soul.
I knew it from the beginning,
Both of you would have my love eternally,
You are not just my daughters but little sisters…
