My Dearest Krissi Poem by Stacey Williams

My Dearest Krissi

Never lose your innocence,
Never let your smile slip,
I’m trying to hold onto you,
But I fear I’m losing my grip.

I’ve never felt such emptiness,
Such a large hole left inside,
An abyss of nothingness encapsulates me,
Since I was forced to leave your side.

I will hold onto and cherish the memories,
The fun and tears we’ve shared,
I can’t imagine my life without you,
I’ve never felt so perfectly paired.

Together we battled our course,
And fought through sleep deprivation,
We conquered all life threw at us,
We held our heads high in elation.

Never feel lonely,
I will never be that far,
I will always be with you,
No matter where on earth you are.

Remember our bond is infinite,
My love for you is everlasting,
I will always stand beside you,
No matter what curse is casting.

This poem isn’t enough to state,
Just what I feel for you,
You became my dearest friend,
After you helped me to pull through,

I was on the brink of destruction,
On the edge of self-despair,
My heart was crushed into a thousand pieces,
I believed it was beyond repair.

Then you stormed into my life,
Like a light from a guiding star,
I’m thankful for all you’ve done for me,
And I love you for all you are.

There’s not a single thing you should change of yourself,
There’s nothing that can be improved,
My whole world shattered when I drove away,
I lost more than life when I moved.

The hurt that burns away inside,
Is held wholly for your beautiful self.
There’s not a thing that could replace you or fill the void,
Not even the whole world’s wealth.

So if you ever feel that you can’t go on,
When life seems to be too much,
Just read this poem to yourself,
And you’ll feel my heart’s touch.

No distance can break us,
No matter how far apart,
I am holding onto you closely,
Right here inside my heart.
