My Dearest Lady Poem by Jon Owens

My Dearest Lady

Would you take me with you
When wayward sands you find
When you stray from temptation
Would you remember to be mine

There exists a place on beyond the falls
Where dreams are sent to bloom
Orchids and roses line the halls
Would you find me in my room?

When in a meadow near a stream
My tomb was gently laid
No matter how hard things may seem
Will you remember he you saved?

In the darkest place where I fear of death I surely shall not hide
If death brought me near you my love, a thousand times Id die.
