My Dog Jack - Poem by Jane Tidy

My dog Jack is brindle and white
He can to me to me on a november night
He was found alone somewhere in Kent
part of his life had already been spent
unwanted by someone i don't no why
he so lovely you wont pass him by
I love my dog jack we are best mates
he watches me while i finish my plate
some for me and lots for you
that is what i will always do
Now here you are jack i will do you no harm
cos in this house is kindness and calm

Any poems about dogs are my downfall Jane, I love them to pieces. I have two Cocker Spaniels, Lily and Beryl, and they are great pals, with me and my other half and with each other. I can never understand how anyone can hurt such gorgeous creatures. Lovely write here, and a lovely read too. Love Ernestine XXX (Report) Reply
