My Doubts Poem by Priya Patel

My Doubts

With every doubt
That plagues my mind
I look deep in my heart
And I sometimes find
That doubts are nothing
But my fears in disguise
Elusive questions
That only magnifies
Larger than life,
They shadow my thoughts
But I trust in myself and I
Will knead out the knots
I will not question my faith
Or the truths in my heart
I will let the doubts form questions,
only then can I start
To live with the answers
To the doubts in my mind
They are my own questions
That only I can redefine
