My Eden Is You (Sonnet #254) Poem by Tina Baaklini

My Eden Is You (Sonnet #254)

I'm not keen in geography at all
Yet I know each mile on your heart's map
The garden of dreams, the temple, the waterfalls The oak bench where we sit each morn to chat.

As real soulmates, within one heart we dwell,
True love is a divine bliss, we choose it not,
It's like birth and death, only fate can tell,
Our hearts were scribed for each other by God.

Oh, we'll never dispute over ownership,
In your name my heart is sealed forever,
You're the one I adore and worship,
You healed my heart with your love so tender.

Paradise can wait, my Eden is you,
Your words, patience, feelings are nothing but true.
