My Essence Poem by Minerva Agriam

I guess my essence
Floats along your sweetness;

Along the rythm of a song
Liken the humming stream nearby;

Is it the silence or the freshness
Or the peaceful ambiance around?

Sometimes it feels like
The little birds are singing by;

And their sweet lullaby
Harmonizes with my being;

Now I know my essence
Longs only for your sweetness;

Deep down inside me
That need has been aroused;

When it recognizes
The one it pines to have;

Thank you for coming
Into my life My sweetness.
