My every heartbeat
whispers your name
My soul embraces you
I long for your tender touch
Your soft kiss
Your body next to mine
I long to hear you whisper,
'I'll love you forever'
once more
The silence is deafening

How I wish for all of these things
to be reality once again
All I have to hold now
are the vivid memories of days gone by
that were once you and I
You will forever be with me
My love
My light
My everything
