My Expectations At the Bar Counter. Poem by Subhadip Bhattacharya

My Expectations At the Bar Counter.

My expectations at
The bar counter,
Revolved around that
Gratified feeling of
Diminishing youth.

And an annoying discovery of
How Much I was
That kept on expecting
In front of that
Bar counter, with a drink in hand
And a behaved body movement.
That silent verbal orgasm,
Then pay and quietly get expelled.
In the middle of the night.
