My Faith Poem by Russel Choudhury

Down fell the two towers! Nothing was to be the same again.
It was said to be done in the name of my Faith, in defence of my Faith.
Shocked and disturbed I opened up the Book of my Faith and read:
“if anyone kills a human-being unjustly it would be as though they had killed the whole of humanity, and if anyone saves a human-being it would be as though they had saved the whole of humanity.”
Three thousand dead! Unjustly killed!
Humanity destroyed three thousand times over, according to my Faith.
