Let all the world know
Where my feelings go;
Let them all see her light,
And envy me and my love's might;
Let them whisper words of jealousy;
After all, they are committing no fallacy.
Fake and false laughter of mine went away
When all sounds and voices went astray
Thinking how happy I be with her,
Not knowing my fake smile was so bitter;
Bitter because be she the other's lover
While me and myself be holding each other.
