My Family Poem by Charley Staines

My Family

So I don't see you everyday,
Birthdays and Christmas Day,
Nobody phones and nobody texts,
But luckily it's what we expect,
Nobody would go out of their way,
To find out if somebody is okay,
But now I realise and now and I know,
If I ever felt truely alone,
All I would have to do is pick up the phone,
You're all still there,
I know deep down you care.
No use getting angry,
Cause that's just my family.
