Dear Father, you were a great man,
How I wish, I had understood you then,
You possessed a heart of gold,
Which makes me shudder and go cold..
Dear Father, you shined so bright,
Outperforming your duties day and night,
You were not only a guide and mentor to me,
But, a shining star to many..
Dear Father, you taught me to be kind and humble,
Now, I realise that it is not so simple,
Your presence gave me strength and courage,
And I was indeed blessed to be under your patronage..
Dear Father, you were indeed a beacon of light,
I crossed many wonderful journeys without any fright,
You were my pillar, my hero,
In your shadows, I am still a zero..
Dear Father, Thank you for being there when I needed you most,
But your absence will always be felt, makes me go moist,
I didn't have the courage to speak to you many a times,
But deep down, I know you a were man, 'way ahead of time'..
Miss you Father!
Bless me Further! !
