Is This The End?
Been together
Since we were young
Thinking we’re in love
But this cannot be so

Passion
A touch we have
Our trust is strong
We know each other
More than we know ourselves

Altered each other lives
In so many ways
It would take a day to tell

We fought so long
It seems without end
For a love that was bound
Not to work
Now it has come
To this

You have signed up for years
I do not know if I want to see you
Before you leave

Thoughts of you dead
Form in my brain

I am encouraging you
To follow your dreams
Yet I fear its over for us

All the fighting
Wasn’t worth a thing
They’re taking you away
We have no choice
But to go our separate ways

I keep telling myself
This is the only way
To be happy again
Yet I feel it is not true
I keep wishing
You were here

We’ve known each other so long
Our love
So powerful
Even though our love
Has failed

You had my heart
From the start
And will
‘Till we die
