My Fears Poem by Salvie Rosales

My Fears

Oh, myriad lovers but none is truly loved
And so many believed they were cherished.
But truthfully they were fooled and make-believed
Lovers come and go then left pain and grieved.

Golden wedding anniversaries soon will be gone
As divorces and parting are multiplying not to one.
Beware of the men who seek for young to half their age
As contentment, with them shall always strife in rage.

My scares of feelings dusk dimmed light.
Shedding tears and casting further fright
Brings so much strength to stop these tears;
Yet, somehow your touch will wash away my fears.
