My Feelings - Poem by shamika thompson

When you come around heaven smiles
I have this feeling for you as if you as if you are a new toy
What beats with blood also jumps for joy
When you come in my face, my eyes decline

The way you feel me up with your hands
Makes me just want to lay
Me wanting to go jump in the Chesapeake Bay
But I'll return as long you're walking these lands

The things you do makes me want to be
In my body you make something beat
But only with you, I can not hate
I sit and try to debate

As I write this down on this sheet
I only want it to be you I see

I'm liking the feeling you put into your work, whether this was a true story or a just a well written thought as a reader you get the sense that there's a real possible true deep love(if you you understand that) anyway great stuff (Report) Reply
