My Final Goodbye Poem by Ally Noslen

My Final Goodbye

This is for you father,
I'm dead you should be glad.
Emptiness and sorrow,
Are all I've ever had.
The pain of your abandonment,
The hurt, the rage inside.
You promised you'd do better,
I take it all in stride.
I just wanted your acceptance,
To know you're proud of me.
Instead I sit here waiting,
For an angel to set me free.
