Wednesday, as always was.
Morning, as before.
My old bus, as used to come,
My old bag, as before.


My same hairstyle,
My same old shoes.
My same purple skirt,
And my same shirt too.


Same was my toothbrush,
Same were my pence.
Same were my rags,
Same were the prayers for me.

But the only difference,
Was my new age.
My new mates,
My new books,
My new scholarship,
My new footsteps.

My new teachers,
My new hostel.
And if you add up all the differences,
It made only one.
And that was,
My new College!
