My First Sight... - Poem by Yogita Bhambi
The weather was cool
and the sun shone bright.
I was wearing a sweater
but you weren't there.
Sitting in a corner
I was asking to the God
why didn't he give me a big brother?
And suddenly you came there.
You were leaning on the wall
when I looked back.
Your hair were shabby
you folded your hands
listening the song you
were enjoying the warmth.
I asked to the God
'is he there? '
And smiling you cried
'I'm here'(talking on the phone to somebody)
From that day onward I tried to talk to you
whenever you were there.
But I don't know why
every time I saw you
I looked up to the sky and asked him
'should I talk or it is better to die? '
I don't know what he said.
But everyday I thanked him
for the wonderful gift he gave to me i.e.you
As long as people will see and breath
my poem will live and will give live to you...
Dedicated to whom I'm nothing but for me is my elder brother...
