My Five Senses Spent Poem by Dan Walters

My Five Senses Spent

Rating: 2.7

As I watched beauty dissaray itself
It lay limp by your naked feet
The times only perdued in counter clock work
Back to when its arms held something
Your open hands hold nothing

To spend my night googly eyed
At the human design?
A question in selfishness
I am half spent and also half full
But oh, the emptyness!

I begin to launch my escade
Walking all over a beautiful/ugly landscape
That I didn't even spend time to survey
Laying my five senses to waste.
