My heart is a lit match heating my body
Calm and steady, yet frantic and anxious

This eternal flame is never put out
Not even with light rain drops or hurricanes

It's the way you say 'I love you' to me
Soft and sweet, loving and caring

It's when you hold me close and never let go
When you look me in the eyes and kiss my lips

How we lie together in total darkness
And make love 'til the sun comes up

You are my life and you are my passion
My lover, my soul mate, my best friend
