My Forest Poem by dylan cronk

My Forest

Peeking through the tips of the trees, I dropp down from heaven
Shining on the trees I make the colours brighter and the plants glow.
I make the sharp whiskers on each branch gleam. From above the trees I watch the rippling water.
How flat the lake as I hear the loons calling.
Forest in the afternoon is perfect, the evening comes too soon. Forced away from the beauty I get my last sight.
I return to the heavens. I am back in the light.
