My Fragile Heart Poem by Jessie Stevens

I haven’t felt like myself in a while,
But boy that is all in the past now,
I feel better than ever and it’s all thanks to you,

I feel like I belong in this world,
And to tell you the truth without you in it,
I don’t think that I would have survived,

Through all of the ups and the downs,
I think that I would have fallen down,
A million times without anyone to catch me,

But you were there to catch me,
With those big and strong arms of yours,
And you’re the reason I’m still here today,

And I would like to thank you,
Because if you never cared from the start,
I would have fallen,

And I would have broken my fragile heart.
