My Freedom - Poem by Muhammad Tayyab Saeed

I am free, I am free
From work and slavery!
I can't believe it, seriously!
I can run around and see
Every mountain and sea
In this country.
Nobody can stop me!
I shall hop around merrily,
Taking in all the scenery
Because I am finally free!
Life is now easy for me
Which it hadn't been previously
And now I am very happy
Because I am finally free
Although I am free
For a really
Short time only-
Minutes thirty.
Then I have to get back to slavery
Or else my master will be angry!
He had told me very clearly
That I had to come at the
Time which he
Had given me.
Now I am no longer free!
I have to go back to the
Master's factory!
