A dusky beautiful gal she is,
Like the beat of my heart she is
In her lovely silky hair is written my destiny
In those eyes with so much care
Is hidden my identity

The road I traveled
Till came I a crossroad
Where found my lost heart
Beloved stranger to you my heart lost

You have set this heart of mine on fire
You are the form
You are the hues
The scorching sun and the shade

You are a bewitching beauty
Who wields the magic
Your smile is as of the sun
broken through a bank of cloud

Your hair,
shines like burnished copper in candlelight
your lips,
has the sheen and softness of rose-petal.

Your skin as soft as silk
She is proud yet compassionate
Cool yet full of loving warmth
Let me drown in this warm water of love

I would live breath by breath
And heartbeat by heartbeat
To cherish every moment spent with you,
Oh, my gentle dove!

My mornings don’t rise without you
My evenings won’t set without you
My life and body wet in the rain of your love
Dearest forever drown me in ocean of love.
