My Gone Pain Poem by Jorge Baide

My Gone Pain

There you are, as always you didn’t left for long
I have seen you a few times before is just that
This time you looked so different, changed
You came as a ray of hope, in my darkest days.

Like violent echoes your whispers roam my heart
I can’t think of you in any wrong way, I just can’t
I have heard of your dark past, not very beautiful
However, I don’t judge you, I just can’t

When I think of you, I don’t see a great future,
Nor a great past, But is your will the one I love,
Not your history, I know you lied in many ways
But I guess is not lying if you don’t deceive.

Many bad things you have done, but trust me,
You and me, not one of them, can’t you see it? ? ?
I can, however, I won’t force you to see it
For it might mean the end of something pure.

For you just another memory in your dark past,
For me my soul and mind free at last from her,
She is gone trust me, she won’t roam within me
Not anymore, why? ? ? Because you came.

I crave for the moment to came when we meet again,
Free from prejudice, from chains but mainly from past
For that’s all it is now; don’t worry I won’t hate you,
I just can’t, you meant more than what you think.
