My Head

Wait for awhile and think
is this really what you want?
You might not want to blink,
Cuz I'm going to pull a huge stunt

At the last step I'm thinking
I've forgotten the most important thing
you can't say no until you try
cuz if you do it may sting
and now the evergrowing butterfly bursts out
and somehow I just can't talk
so much now I wanna scream and shout
but instead I take a really long walk

As the fire rages from the remains of my butterfly
my brian encourages me to try again
so much my heart is yelling for me to cry
but my brain is overpowering and is going to win

free from the flames that engolfed me
I retrace my strong and willing steps
so that happy is all that I will be
but somehow I know there is a perhaps...

Perhaps I fail and it would be wrong
well, why would I think of such
and write everythin but a love song
when I love you so very much?
