My Heart Poem by Narendhran Chandran

My Heart

Control my heart thyself
Maybe it is not time yet
To allow thyself engulf
Sorrow and Pain reminiscent
Free my heart thyself
For they are just transient
Fly my heart far far away
For innocent yet you are
Fly far away from me
For this is no place inhabitant to be
Never to return
Only till my ashes searches thee

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written on Tulsi ghat by the river Ganges when I saw a floating body. I was suffering from typhoid and mentally deep drawn with multitude thoughts flooding me. A realization that death must be only an assistant to mediate existence into another world which awaits you.
