My Heart Bleeding Poem by Darren Harris

My Heart Bleeding

Drowning in a sea of sorrow,
No more yesterdays or tomorrows,
Living life day to day,
Because the pain I feel wont go away,

Living someone else’s life,
Sliding down the sharp edge of a knife,
Feeling the cold of the steel,
Feeling the pain that they feel,

Why is this life I live not mine?
Full of pain time after time,
Painting on a smile every day
Been what people want come what may,

Now the drip you hear is my heart bleeding
As I feel my life ebbing away,
The drip you hear is my heart bleeding,
Gone are my tomorrows, my yesterdays,
And my today’s.
