My Jesus Poem by Chelsea Blick

My Jesus

I see him around the corner
Each time I am walking through
I see him through the windows
Each time the thoughts….
Begin to run throughout my mind
When my heart collapses, and
My anger has been triggered
Whether in the middle of the night
Or by early dawn, I can hear him
Speaking softly to not frighten me
But stern enough for me to take seriously
Just like your God would do, only
he interacts to me when I am in need
When I am dragging below waters
And the rocks tear me to pieces
I see him standing there, angry
Pulling upon my sleeve yelling
“Get the Hell up, not just yet”
I fear the reaper, my savor
