My Journey Away From Faith Poem by Annie V.D.L

My Journey Away From Faith

Rating: 4.0

Faith is a complex subject of the mind
A deceitful web, those with power weave
To have faith is to leave the world behind
Lives in the hands of those death does deceive
In twisted manor, my faith stripped away
To put myself in hands of gods untold
Far between life and death my soul does sway
Faith in something I cannot know, they fold
Faith is obscure, a winding path some choose
in following 'The God' Some take no fear
As if there is no dred, nothing to lose
I say for not, I follow my own ear
In moderation my words have long perch
Do they still, even stood outside my church
