My Kaleidoscope Poem by Alfred Ramos

My Kaleidoscope

Colors flash from unlimited light
Gleaming with a frenzy of forgotten blight

Hues covering the entire spectrum
Waves of wonder share a lustrous outcome

Only the imagination is left to bid
For a delirious smile that cannot be hid

A twinkle of the eye reflects in its mirror
A burst of stars ready to appear

Morning dew reaches out with delight
Adding seasoning to the eyes’ appetite

With a drawing power no one can resist
Providing a window to a sky with an endless list

Jagged pieces cut with a jagged knife
Never promising to fit in anyone’s life

Just to brighten an unknown day
Simply marvelous is all I got to say
