Children cute,
Shut up is our
Answer to mute

Overwhelmed they ask
About it.
This is too much
Is our response well knit,

Can you tell me Mom
Why darkness there,
Why light and day?

Dear Dad, where does the sun,
At night slide and run?
"Keep quiet you naughty

ನಮ್ಮ ಮುದ್ದು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತುಂಟ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ
ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಕೂರು ಎಂಬ ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರ...

ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಚಿಮ್ಮಿ ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ,
ಅಧಿಕ ಪ್ರಸಂಗ ಬೇಡವೆಂಬ ಜೋರು ಧ್ವನಿಯದು...

"ಕತ್ತಲ್ಯಾಕೆ, ಬೆಳಕು ಯಾಕೆ ಹೇಳು ಮಾತೆಯೇ? "
"ಕೆಲಸವಿಹುದು ನನಗೆ ಬೇರೆ, ಅದು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ! "

"ಅಪ್ಪ, ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನೆಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿ ಹೋಗುವ? "

"ಕಾಲು ಇಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲ, ನಡಿಯೋದ್ ಹ್ಯಾಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲಲಿ? "

"ಅಜ್ಜಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೂದಲ್ಯಾಕೆ ಬಿಳಿಯ ಬಣ್ಣ ಬಂದಿದೆ? "
"ಸಾಯಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ದಿನ ಹತ್ತಿರವೇ ಬಂದಿದೆ."
