My Life - Poem by Valdema Rakafa
The sun shines bright,
Early in the morning,
I start to wonder my today's activities,
I prepare for a new day,
But is lost before l have called it a day.
I try to read,
I keep myself occupied,
I venture everyday
But still nothing has changed.
My heart still yearns for truth,
For the secret behind close doors,
For your undeserved love,
But still l don't get it
I seem not to understand anything,
But all l know is that....
It shall return to me,
I shall meet you again
I can see you in front of me,
Telling me not to let you go,
The never ending echo keeps haunting me,
What have l done to deserve,
What's wrong with my life.
I might not answer now,
But my life is no longer mine,
My soul was robbed out of me,
Where is it now?
