My Life, A Treasure Poem by jimmy manganda

My Life, A Treasure

I'm content with the decisions I make in my life,
My brilliance shines in my actions, not that am a genius
But I choose my words carefully to remain sane
Life's way too short to keep making enemies,
Well, my life's a treasure, I treasure my life

I'm no different to your indifference at times,
But hey, I am but human it's in my nature to make mistakes,
How I choose to recover my positivity is my selling point,
How I take it and smile is why I am that I am, me
My life must be a treasure for I treasure my life

Keep my body and soul out of harms way at the worst of times,
Keep my mind active and working at the best of times,
Like father said we are but a product of our actions and decisions,
It's the consequences that we all try and avoid,
Your life is a treasure, from beyond the rainbow end

Don't ask me why but I despise negativity,
If you are not with me then I recommend staying out of my zone,
The throne I sit on in my world is full of optimism,
So I decline and refuse to give into the many, who insinuate negativity,
For my life's a treasure, I treasure my life.

Keep my body out of harms way so I make sure my body is active,
My mind proactive, and my spirit uplifted; at all times,
I say a prayer sometimes in the middle of the day just to thank him,
For yesterday, for today and for tomorrow, whatever it brings,
I treasure his goodness, for he treasures my life.

I'm a master in my own house and I will do it my way,
Knowing between right and wrong means I'll do it the right way,
I'm a victim of brilliance and I walk with a bright light,
If you had my attitude you'd see that we could light up the whole night,
And you would treasure yours like I treasure mine, for our lives are a treasure, I treasure my Life, what about you?
