My Love Poem by Dianna Clary

My Love

He was but young when I did see.
The man I knew my heart would be
so wrap up in
He was my prize, above all men

Yet rebel a child of the times,
I felt our hearts where meant to be as one.
Just he and I our love would never die.

We have grown old and raised out children,
Yet my love is strong and still unending.
I look in to his eyes so true,
And know he too, loves me thru and thru.

Yes we have gone thru times of trial
And ups and downs we have but shared.
But through it all we have always cared.

Times makes us old and wise for the knowing
That love is all, but, always growing.

Someday the Lord will bring us home
And whomever sees his righteous throne
Will know the other will join to remain
In the love we have always known.
