Baby don't do me wrong
I thought our love was goin strong
Now if we we meant to be
I guess we'll never know
Cause it always takes time to see
And time to grow.
Baby I'm not saying you aren't the one for me
Cause you're my king
I'm saying give us time to grow, to prosper
To live it up and let it go
Baby I promise if everything you say is true
Our love will blow.
It will shine, it will light the world
And if I'm not enough, even so..
You're all I need, my wants and even more
And baby I promise everything I say is genuine
