My Love Measured Through Your Reflections Poem by Don Nguyen

My Love Measured Through Your Reflections

I measure my love for you through your reflections
Shone throughout all the imageries of love
In silence of sonata piano's slowly punctuating notes
In the one perfect tear drop which gradually formed in the corner of my eye
Now rolling down my cheek
I measure my love for you through your reflections
Imprinted on the paint of the interior walls of my world
Which slightly cracks open to prevent the outside world
From entering the depth of my heart, my soul
That are reserved for you alone, for our loving
I measure my love for you with the distilled silence
Harvested from the turbulent seas of emotions
Which are often used to sharpen the flavor of love pains
That I have gained and now offered with my whole heart
I measure my love for you for all the things I have left behind
All the things I have accumulated
And now I open both my empty hands, release them all
Into the abyss of bottomless love reservoir
Which is being filled up while my hands remain emptied
While my eyes are colored with heavenly rainbow of love
There is no hyphen, no question mark, no parenthesis, no semi colon
Connects or encloses my soul's silence to the clamorous but poignant tumultuous world
I measure my love toward you through numerous passion tides
Which rise and recede like the currents overflowing my soul
I want hide them deep within my ocean
For I fear of worldly contamination
But in order for love to spread like wild fire in the rain
I am open up myself, exposed for your miracles to occur to cause the wet fire going
My love, I lay everything under your feet, for your love, I now submit
