My Misty Eyes Poem by Alizee Toson

My Misty Eyes

My misty eyes, cried all night
In the regret of past,
In the bitterness of the morrow,
That I couldn’t hide,
That I couldn’t hide.

Something had lost behind, lost all of that,
Something very precious,
Which stays always in my mind,
That I will never forget,
That I will never forget.

No way to make it right,
In lieu of drying my eyes,
In lieu of struggling alone,
That I have to fight,
That I have to fight.

Thing that made me blind,
For what, I went crazy,
Left me alone in my journey,
That I can’t forgive,
That I can’t forgive.

Now my world is so bleak,
Wind of no hope and no rise,
But a magic will happen,
That I always believe,
That I always believe.

My misty eyes, laden with tears,
Screams in the silence,
Waiting for that day special day,
That I always see,
That I always see.
