My Mother My Angel Poem by Skittles XOXO

My Mother My Angel

Rating: 2.8

Your gone from me now, enjoying God's love,
I know that your somewhere way far above.
Your pictures they now fill my home,
For somehow this makes me feel less alone.
Your beautiful face i'll never forget,
For it's burnt in my memory, forever well set.
I pick up the phone to just say hi,
Then set it back down and gently cry.
Your no longer there to answer the phone,
Now all i get is a long silent tone.
So many memories, i'll keep every one,
All the laughter and all the fun.
Mom you were the very best,
But God finally decided to put you to rest.
No more hospitals no more pain, theres no holes in heaven,
And your tears are not rain.
For i know that your peaceful and happy above,
How can you cry in Gods presence and love.

[In Memory Of My Loving Mother, May,1935 - May,2005]
